I understand that the information you share with me through nurdleintherough.com is private and I am committed to respecting the privacy and security of your personal information. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how I use and look after the personal information that you provide me. By using my site you are agreeing to the terms of my privacy policy. Financial Information/Ordering:

Please note that Nurdle in the Rough Jewelry does not retain any financial information. My website uses Stripe, a payment gateway – they’re the people who know the business of keeping your payment details secure, so that’s why I use them. Stripe’s use of your information is subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. This privacy policy does not apply to, and I cannot control the activities of, Stripe or any other third party that I work with. Should charges in addition to your order arise (requested add ons or expedited shipping) or a custom piece requested I will arrange a payable email invoice via Stripe or PayPal request. The credit card information you enter into such an invoice is safeguarded and handled by either Stripe or PayPal, you can read about PayPal’s privacy policy Here. If you would like payment handled a different way, please reach out to me directly via kat@nurdleintherough. com and we can discuss alternative options.

When you enter your email in the ordering process you will not be automatically signed up for offers and updates ie NurdleNews. You can opt to receive NurdleNews via a check box at checkout, in your order confirmation or on my website. After you order your email will only be used by me personally if I have a question about your order or need to confirm your shipping address. A record of your order, email, shipping and billing address will be logged in my secure website, I will be able to access it if need arises in the event of returns or future questions that may arise surrounding your order. This information will be used only by myself unless law requires me to release it to law enforcement in the event of an investigation or lawsuit. I will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing me to disclose the identity of or locate anyone posting any illegal material onto my website. I will otherwise treat all of the personal information you provide to me as confidential. I do not sell, trade, share or transfer your personal data to any third parties, other than to a third party who acts as an agent and stores personal information on my behalf.

Nurdle News Sign Up:

Your name and email will be used only for occasional newsletter releases about updates, news and sales. These emails will be distributed by me regarding Nurdle in the Rough Jewelry. Your information will never be distributed, revealed to others or sold. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email you receive.

Information collected for analytics:

My website may also collect technical information from you, such as your IP address (which is a number specially given to your computer) and the type of internet browser you are using. My website may also collect information regarding: the date and time you access my website, your data services provider, the pages on my website that you visit, the products you purchase and review, the links you click, how you interact my website, the content and images you select and how you arrived at my website. My website may use this type of technical information to help administer analytics. I may use this information to check the use of my website and to improve and develop my website and services. I do not link this technical information to anything that could identify you which means you always remain anonymous to me in respect of such information.

Website Reviews:

When you enter your email to leave a review, your email will remain private, will not be used for promotional purposes and will not be sold, shared or traded. The name that you enter into the review form will be public. Feel free to leave only your first name if that makes you feel more secure. If you log into your personal Facebook profile to leave the review, your Facebook name and profile photo will be publicly attached to your review. If you would not like your photo attached to your review, you can opt to leave a review by only entering your email, instead of continuing on through Facebook. Your email will also be obtained by Facebook for the purpose of the review, but it will be kept private. Any information you enter into the text box of your review will be public and posted to my site. To safeguard yourself, do not leave contact information or information about your physical location in this public text box. Any reviews left via my website will be public and will be stored. Reviews may be used by Nurdle in the Rough for promotional or marketing purposes such as in email campaigns or in various locations of my site.
