The result of the 2016 presidential election was bad news for a lot of humans who cherish and fight for this planet and its inhabitants. I anguished over the impact that the Trump administration would have on our planet, the American people and those who trust and rely on the USA. I decided to channel my anger and frustration so I sat down at my bench and got to work. I made these black nurdle necklaces, that evolved a Silver Lining around each setting. I couldn't see the silver lining through the darkness, so I created some.

Nurdles are the pre-production plastic pellets that most plastic consumer goods are made from. They are often found in great numbers on beaches around the world, and are in the top 10% of ocean plastic polluters.
Love the intent behind the creation of this pendant. Brings me hope to wear this symbolic silver lining around my neck everyday!
My new favorite piece of jewelry. It’s so sweet and delicate, and goes with everything. I’m usually into big dramatic necklaces but something about this minimalist beauty is just really perfect right now.
my mom gave me this necklace soon after the election and I've worn it just about every day since. I hope and pray it will be not be another 4 years! this necklace is so sturdy and wonderful. I just love it.
